Seven brides for seven brothers

This is a film that I’ve just discovered and already love-made in 1954, it stars Howard Keel and Jane Powell.

I love anything frontier and was sucked in from the number ‘Bless your beautiful Hide’ until the end credits.

From imdb;

Adam, the eldest of seven brothers, goes to town to get a wife. He convinces Milly to marry him that same day. They return to his backwoods home. Only then does she discover he has six brothers – all living in his cabin. Milly sets out to reform the uncouth siblings, who are anxious to get wives of their own. Then, after reading about the Roman capture of the Sabine women, Adam develops an inspired solution to his brothers’ loneliness.

Within the first part of the film we see the brothers contrast against the women in town with their earthy tones and scruffiness but as soon as their ways are transformed, so is the clothing and the wardrobes of the film.

    Technoloy is not my thing, so I just wondered: how do you take those screencaps? I would love to do that, since I rarely find the pictures I'm looking for
